I am the head COOL GAL, founder and Executive Director of Positive Moves Incorporated, a non-profit organization and parent company of the Cool Gals™ project. I moderate the blog, along with the help of the Cool Moms™ who serve on the Cool Gals Advisory Board. I am a personal trainer and believe by "stepping up to the place", young women, building a foundation of responsibility for their health and fitness allowing them to BECOME POWERFUL WOMEN AND LEADERS.

Introducing COOL GAL AMBASSADOR...A N N A !

Hey I'm Anna I live in Georgia and I am in the 6th Grade!!! My Birthday is April 12 and I LOVE having a big family!!!! It's really cool because we have so many people who support each other! I also like that my family is REALLY healthy! My mom works out like everyday and so does my dad. They are both pushing me and my siblings to get healthier and more active!! So that's a little bit about me! :) What I like about my body are my long legs! I like them because I have alot more sport options because I am tall. I'm saying if you are shorter your opportunities are just different. For me I can jump really far and high and I run kinda slow! So there are some good things and some things that are less to my advantage because I have long legs, but I like being tall!!!!! :) I feel great assisting others in being healthier and healthier and learning new ideas for being healthy myself. In today's world so many children are being labeled (big word coming...) obese and that isn't good! So I think it's cool that we are doing a blog that connects more and more kids and adults, and gives them good information, ideas and support...and not just talks about what Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan are wearing...

My name is Sara. I live in Connecticut. I am in ninth grade and I love that my family is very open with each other and we talk about everything together.The best thing that I would like to share is that I am really active with soccer two to four times a week and I see about going on a walk every day. I also mainly eat only healthy foods and avoid eating too many sweets.I really enjoy being a part of this blog because this is something that all people should be aware of. Everyone loving the responsibility of caring for their health is cool and I feel like is a way I am leading a better life.
